Rev. Jane Kopp

In January, 1984, our beloved minister, Jane Kopp, joined our community with her husband, the late Rev. Karl Kopp. On September 15, 2011, her resignation as minister was received and became effective December 31st. Her last service as minister was the Christmas Eve service on December 24th. She will serve as Director of Brooks Center for Spirituality, housed in the church.

As Jane transitions from her role as the minister of our community into this new focus, we find ourselves incapable of adequately thanking her for awakening us to who we really are. From what we have learned from both Kopps, we now look forward with confidence and enthusiasm to the continual unfolding of consciousness of our community. We take from Jane the example of an authentically lived life, present and available, boldly affirming what IS here. We honor Jane as our Teacher of Teachers. We are most grateful that Jane will be among us, continuing to teach, and knowing that we have much more of the undiscovered country to encounter with her.
