INFORMATION ABOUT THE OPEN MINISTER’S  POSITION

Dear Inquirer:

The congregation of the First Divine Science Church of Denver, a New Thought church, is searching for a minister to assume leadership within the coming year.  We are now involved in outreach to find an individual (or couple) to assume the position of minister. Perhaps that person is you or someone you know.

Ours is not your usual church. We are a complex mix of knowledgeable spiritual seekers interested in philosophy, comparative religion, and depth psychology—among other explorations—who are also heart centered. Experienced in meditation, affirmative prayer, and practical application of consciousness in daily living, we are open to learning all we can about the dimensions of consciousness. We recognize that our next minister might be found in a variety of fields where such interests and practices are studied, although willingness to be ordained in Divine Science is primary with us. We feel this mother church of Divine Science offers unique opportunities to the right person for spiritual leadership and personal growth. We ourselves are also open to new growth and creative expansion.
